Dear Third Fourth Colac Scouting Families
Each year one of our major fundraisers is we staff the gates at the Annual Colac P & A Society show. This involves selling entry tickets and checking persons entering with prepaid tickets. This year’s show is a one-day event only on Saturday 2nd November 2024. There are 3 gates to staff from 6.30am to 9.30pm. See attached roster.
Due to OH&S restrictions only persons 16 years and over can staff gates. Youth members who wish to participate can assist by selling soft drinks at our drink stall that is outside the side door of the commerce building.
The drink stall will also be staffed by one supervising adult.
The drink stall also acts as an admin office for the gate staff to be able to check into and use as a rest area.
Parental support for this fundraiser is critical. The money we raise from this fundraiser enables us to buy new/upgrade equipment, maintain our hall and keep our group membership fees at the lowest possible level.
The shifts are in one hour blocks, we ask that each family completes at least 4 blocks across the day. An up to date rooster will always be available below.

Gates must be staff with adults and youth over the age of 16 years. Gates must always attended.
