Cub Scouts meet weekly, giving young people the chance to have fun, build friendships, and learn new skills. Each session is filled with engaging activities, teamwork, and opportunities to grow.
Cub Scouts enjoy fun weekend trips, giving young people the chance to explore the outdoors and try new adventures. These trips build confidence, friendships, and teamwork while creating lasting memories.
Cub Scouts are encouraged to create their own paths, exploring interests and setting personal goals. This helps build confidence, independence, and a sense of achievement.
They meet once a week as well as going on some super cool weekend
activities.
There are fun camps for Cub Scouts which could have interesting themes
like ‘Space Odyssey’ or ‘Pirates on the High Seas’. A 5-day ‘Cuboree’ with thousands
of other excited Cub Scouts at Gilwell Park, near Gembrook. Sample text. Click to select the Text Element.
Cub Scouts play fantastic games like scavenger hunts, or they might
build a catapult together.
They also earn a range of badges for bushcraft, cooking, camping and
many other skills.
There’s even a ‘SES’ badge, designed with the help of SES, which involves the Cub Scouts being aware of emergency phone
numbers and learning about security issues for themselves or their homes.
If you’re aged 8–11 and keen to try Cub Scouts, you’ll find plenty of fun, adventure, and chances to build confidence and leadership skills. We’re always welcoming new members see our meeting details below. Please note we meet during school terms only.
